Council Service Center in Apopka – The Central Florida Council Boy Scouts of America Council Service Center was purchased in 1997 and has been in operations for 22 years now. We have over 12 different Air Condition and Heating systems on the roof and many are old models. We are planning to replace 2 AC units in 2019. Also, the Council Service Center had a flood from toilet backup in the management wing and around the program services area. We are working with our insurance company to replace the damaged floor and expect to have the new flooring installed by end of April 2019.
Camp Quartermaster Hut – Camp La-No-Che and the Leonard & Marjorie Williams Family Scout Reservation will have a new Quartermaster Hut area out by the main parking of Camp La-No-Che. The new Camp Quartermaster Hut area is being funded by American Audio Visual and Mark Spinicelli and volunteers from Troop 787 are providing additional volunteer services to help. The Camp Quartermaster Hut is expected to be open by the last weekend of April for the Beast event on April 26-28, 2019
